Diagnostic examinations of the shoulder are very important. This patient has had 9 shoulder dislocations when he was in his teens. Note the huge Hill-Sachs lesions that has been crushed flat over those episodes.

This patient has had 5 shoulder dislocations in the past couple years, most recent happening during a sneeze while the arm was fully abducted to use as a pillow during a nap.
