Unfortunately I don’t have full control over the printing process; a handful of the proof copies I’ve ordered have all had alignment-related imperfections not present in my source file. I’ve asked Kindle Direct Publishing what I can do to prevent these, and the answer is ‘none’. The content isn’t affected by this, just aesthetics. Still, sorry.
